I remember this day well. A good friend of mine and I planned this hike the day before, and we decided to head south of San Francisco. It was a sunny day throughout the entire area.
We took BART all the way south and got off at our stop. After that, we waited for a bus, which took a while to arrive. Once it came, we rode it toward the mountain. When we got close, we got off and walked up a steep road that led to a trail heading into the hills.
From there, we made our way toward the peak of the mountain. Along the way, we took short breaks to take in the view, and we were exhausted as the climb was very steep and challenging. Once the major uphill section was over, we hiked for another 20 minutes before reaching our destination.
It was an exhausting hike overall, but worth it. At the top, we stepped onto a wooden platform and took this picture. There was no fog today, just distance, which was surprising since it is often foggy there. It was a good day, but not for long, as my phone dropped and cracked. Not explaining any further, my phone managed to still function. Both my friend and I were surprised. Not long after, we decided to hitch a ride back to San Francisco.
